If you have old DOS/Win3.1/Win95
or OS/2 programs that need to run under Windows 2000/XP, you can use
Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (free version) downloadable from Microsoft
website at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx.
Run Linux Without Installation
If you want to try Linux but do not
want to install it, you can try the free Knoppix. Bootable from CD/DVD,
just need to configure an imaged drive on your hard disk to store
configurations. Knoppix can be downloaded via http://www.knoppix.com.
