But due to its difficulty in configuration, most people has chosen to avoid it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This blog will guide you on the configuration of the Fedora Linux 8 (latest version is 9). Basically Fedora Linux is capable of:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Co-exist and dual bootable with Windows XP&lt;br /&gt;- Play video &amp;amp; audio (including DVD if you have a DVD drive)&lt;br /&gt;- Play streaming video &amp;amp; audio&lt;br /&gt;- Auto-mount Windows NTFS and FAT/FAT32 hard disk volumes&lt;br /&gt;- Auto-mount plug and play devices like USB thumbdrives / hard disks&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Linux has all the tools FREE - Image Editing, Photo Organizer&lt;br /&gt;, Web WYSIWYG Editor, OpenOffice apps (equivalent to MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint), CD/DVD Burning apps, games and tons of development tools.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My Fedora Linux allows me to perform the following:&lt;br /&gt;- Rip MP3&lt;br /&gt;- Watch DVD movies&lt;br /&gt;- Watch YouTube video&lt;br /&gt;- Listening to my favorite Intenet radio streaming&lt;br /&gt;- performing Internet Banking with Java plugin&lt;br /&gt;- Read and write to Windows hard disk volumes&lt;br /&gt;- Many more...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a start, you may want to get the latest Fedora Linux copy from http://www.linuxproject.org.</description><link>http://www.hongcs.per.sg/Blogs/2008/05/welcome-to-linux.html</link><author>noreply@blogger.com (Hong Chin Siong)</author></item></channel></rss>
