SingNet service is terrible! Their news server (news.singnet.com.sg) has been down for 8 days and they are unable to fix. Shame on them because I can connect via 3rd party news server to access newsgroups!!!

The tech support guys are not helpful at all - empty promise to call back, claimed news.singnet.com.sg is not SingNet's server (best!) and 1 even asked me to call Microsoft for help! Actually to call Microsoft for what? I told her off.

Yesterday another one remote into my PC but of course just wanted to see the "actual error message", which is "502 You are not in my access file. Goodbye."

Think SingNet should wake up and at least educate your support staff on your own systems.
